What geographical areas in Oregon are funded?

Lane County is awarded 90% of the grants issued; Benton County 5% and Deschutes County 5%.

Can we apply for a scholarship for an individual?

No.

Are applications for capital (new building) projects accepted?

Only in special circumstances. However, after the building is up, the Chambers Family Foundation might help with finishing costs such as furnishings or equipment.

Are applications for operating funds accepted?

Yes, but projects are given priority over operating funds.

How many copies of the application and accompanying information should we submit?

Only one copy is necessary.

What is the average range of grants?

Historically:

$0-$4,999 = 40%

$5,000-$9,999 =32%

$10,000-$14,999 = 15%

The remaining 13% have been over $15,000.

What is the deadline for submitting grants?

Proposals can be submitted at any time but must be received in their entirety by March 31 or September 30 to be considered at the next funding meeting.

Can grant applications be emailed?

Yes. Complete application packets and supporting information may be mailed or hand delivered to the Chambers Family Foundation office or emailed to admin@chambersfamilyfoundation.com
